BBC NEWS : Hunt for Pengam burglars who took pet parrot Rocky
Thieves took the seven-year-old African Grey in the break-in at a house in the Rhymney Valley village of Pengam, Caerphilly county.
Police said Rocky has distinctive markings, with red feathers on his leg.
Officers said it has now been a week since the much-loved pet was taken from its home on Commercial Street, along with other valuables.
Anyone with information about Rocky is asked to contact Gwent Police.
